HOPPLER KD 3.1

More than 70 years ago, Fritz HOPPLER KD 3.1 developed the Hoppler rheoviscometer, which is based on the patented ball pressure method. As the successor to the Höppler rheoviscometer and Höppler consistometer, which have been tried and tested for years, the HOPPLER® KD 3.1 combines their simple measuring principle with a high level of operating convenience. In addition, statements about the flow properties of  non-Newtonian liquids can be made by placing defined masses.

  • Easy to operate
  • Semi-automatic test procedure
  • Digital viscosity
  • Display further processing of the measurement results via RS 232 interface

Applications:

It is mainly used when the viscosity of opaque fluids is to be determined in very large measuring ranges, e.g.:

– Oils
– Pastes
– Solutions
– Emulsions
– Suspensions
– Food industry
– Cosmetics / Pharmacy

It is used to determine viscosity, especially in laboratories where this proven measuring method is prescribed in the quality standard.
